Dewey Short Visitor Center 

4500 Historic Hwy 165, Branson, MO 65616

Fun interactive exhibits.  Nearby there are paved walking paths that continue along the lake for 2.2 miles.  The trail is open for foot traffic and bicycles.  There are restrooms, benches and water fountains.  Bring a picnic, jump in the water.  It's the perfect day for the entire family.

Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery

From Branson, take Highway 165 southwest 6 miles to the hatchery near Table Rock Dam. The hatchery visitor center address is 483 Hatchery Road Branson, MO 65616. 

Great fun to see the fish in different stages.  A new conservation center is being built.  The old one had various local spiders on display and examples of different wildlife native to the Ozarks.

Other Hiking Trails

White River Valley Trail System

This is 10.25 miles of color coded loop trails are open to hikers and bikers as well.  Trailheads are located off of Hwy 165 near the state park office and off of Trophy Run Road. 

Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area

412 Owen Lane, Branson, MO 65616

This 140 acre section of beauty has views of the lake, restrooms, hiking and 5.3 miles of trails that feature a grotto.  Fair warning. There is a section with 315 stone steps that will leave you panting and gasping for air

Moonshine Beach

3778 Historic Hwy 165, Branson, MO 65616 

Located at the north end of Table Rock Dam.  This park is open 9am to 9pm in season.  It's not quite free but at $5 per vehicle, it's a great deal.  There are picnic areas, swimming, and boat ramp and dock available

Parks

Stockstill Park

625 Stockstill Ln, Branson, MO 65616 

This park is located along Roark Creek.  There are walking paths, skate park, tennis courts, picnic tables and a nice playground.  Bring your dog along as well because it also has a neat dog park. It sits on over 60 acres.

John Nygard Memorial Park

500 S 5th St, Branson, MO 65616

 This is a smaller park with a playground, swing set, picnic tables and benches.

Branson RecPlex

1500 Branson Hills Parkway, Branson, MO 65616

This 44,000 sq ft center features two gymnasiums, a fitness center, indoor track, baseball fields, walking trails and two playgrounds.

Epps Park

201 Long Street, Branson, MO 65616

This is the smallest park but it has a covered area to sit and watch the kids play.

Sunset Park

869 Sunset Lane, Branson, MO 65616 

Over 21 acres and features a shorter walking trail.  There is also a disc golf course.

Sparky is a free Downtown Branson trolley. Come check out the area. Get a lift between stops or just ride and enjoy the view.
